The word "culture" has had a growing meaning for me in the past few years, and it really shows how much you learn through your life experiences.

This was by far the hardest section to create, because there are so many ways to take culture on and offline. What this section is going to show you is the thoughts of designers about culture online, and how their offline culture affects their design. It was a daunting task and I had to pull some strings to do it, but you'll see comments other than mine here soon.

July/August 2002 - Culture Question
This month, I asked the designers these two questions, concerning design/internet culture and their own culture.

Question One:
"What is your view of internet culture in this day and age?"

Question Two:
"How does your culture affect the way you design?"

Now take a look at how each designer I asked (including myself), answered the questions. NOTE: To navigate, click the button of the cooresponding question to see that person's answer. Also, the opinions of the people asked do not necessarily reflect the opinions of this site and what it stands for. Each person was asked to make their answer truthfully and not to be influenced by the interviewer's own thoughts and opinions.
